The purpose of Deathless Dodecagon is to create decent electronic music with melody, harmony, and rhythm. Deathless Dodecagon strives to make more intellectually and emotionally stimulating music. I like for my songs to evoke visual ideas in the listener.

I create a variety of styles of songs. Most of the songs are categorised as "IDM" (Intelligent Dance Music) for lack of a better term. Some other songs would be categorised here as "Electro".
Why this name?
I was watching Dr. Who on tv and saw an episode about the dodecahedron, a tiny but mystical energy source of great mass. Dodecahedrons look more interesting as they are 3 dimensional, but "Dodecagon" sounded better to me. The word "Deathless" is used just to sound mysterious and transcendental, as the music is meant to sound mysterious and transcendental. (A dodecagon is a 12-sided figure. A dodecahedron is a 12-sided object).
Do you play live?
I only play classical improv live and alone in private. It relaxes me and stretches my melodic abilities.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has improved the music industry by making music and music technology more widely available. The MP3 audio file format is popular and convenient, but is inferior to WAV or AIFF in terms of sound quality.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If they could provide a cure for schizophrenia as payment, I would gladly sign with them.
Band History:
I have been composing electronic music since 1993. My progress has been slow and gradual. The bulk of my early works were created from 1997-2001. 98% of my first original works were lost during an episode of schizophrenia in august of 2005. My ability to concentrate and compose has suffered extremely since then.

Now on medication for schizophrenia, I hear and experience music differently than before. Hopefully with a clearer mind, and with patience, I can create a plethora of new songs that are better than before.

During my childhood and teen years, I had some music education. During college, I had some music technology education.
