Al Mac better known as Allen McNeil, the lead singer of Troop is a smooth R&B vocalist and producer with that OG feel that takes you back to the days of real R&B.
Along with Steve Russell, Jhon Harreld, Rodney Benford and Reggie Warren Troop's first release in 1988 called "Mamacita" written by Gerald Levert and Mark Gordon got them in the door.
Al Mac has been apart of several hits on the billboard charts like "All I Do Is Think Of You" performed by Troop, "Tender Lover" performed by Baby Face and has also been involved with the block buster movie soundtrack "New Jack City".
Which featured Queen Latifah, Christopher Williams, Eddie Levert and Troop to name a few. Now after selling over 15 million records world wide with Troop, Allen McNeil has arrived. A seasoned vet.

AL MAC has been in the industry for over 20 years. He has worked with groups and artists such as Troop, The Whispers, The OJ's, Gerald Levert, Keith Sweat, Queen Latifah, Teddy Riley, Snoop Dog, Mr.Caine, Kurupt, SWV, Baby Face, Stevie Wonder, Above The Law, Paula Abdul, Vanessa Williams, Volume 10, Big Logic, Heather Hunter, Next and the list goes on. Over these years AL MAC has developed his writing skills, production and mastered his vocal performance. Look forward to hearing alot more of AL MAC in the years to come!

As of now I am currently setting up appearances. But I tend to stay in the studio recording as much as possible. My most special moments are recording and creating.

My musical influences are The Jackson Five, Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind and Fire, Lionel Richie, O'brian, D'Angelo, Marvin Gaye, and Troop

I record on Pro Tools. I also use Reasons 5.0 along with Sonar Producer X1

This is really cool to see u doin' a CD. That CD Deepa is the ish and Mayday. Them notes u hit are impossible. Not even gonna try it. Not worrin' 'bout that 'cos I know I can't sing like that. Sounds cool though.
