I've become a really exceptional button-pusher. Sometimes I'm pushing buttons for 12 hours a day. I started back in 97',pushing only a few. Now, I push thousands, and have also incorporated my years of key pushing and string plucking. People from around the world have come to appreciate my fingers' ability to press the appropriate buttons at the appropriate time. My pushing has been featured in indie films, skate videos, and even dance performances. There are parts of the world where people pray to my fingers...and there is a fund to keep them free from harm. By the way, asking an artist to classify their music is a sin in my book, and I really struggled finding "genres" for my songs. Try not to pay so much attention to those...the music should be all that matters. Namaste.
Hive, Curtis Mayfield, Ella, Louis, Sam Cooke, Aceyalone, Augustus Pablo, Jao Gilberto, Prefuse73, RJD2, coincidence.
Nope, no way am I telling you that. I will, however, say that I stay away from loop based programs...I only use my computer to do a little mastering before the music goes to disc.
I like music that speaks to me, that I can feel. If I can connect with it on a level like this, I know it's got soul, and that it was created with the purest intentions. I'll pay anybody who tells me that my music does this for them. We'll talk finance...get at me.
