Astrum Vox came to be through the experiences of horror, fear, loss, anguish, drug use, alternate reality perception, but also through happiness, joy, and pleasure.

The music is created through the influences of time, space, perception, emotions, dreams, and needless to say, the mind of an individual whose mind is severely tainted.
Why this name?
I am a HUGE fan of "Transformers," as I grew up in the day and age where they were forced on to humanity the hardest. Starscream was my favourite. I am also hugely influenced by DJ Starscream, or Number Zero, as he is referred to in Slipknot. The name, being so 'out there' appealed to me. I also use it as my screen name for most websites, including VampireFreaks.com .
The name is translated to Latin, and means Star Scream.
Also, as Astrum Vox is fueled by dreams and emotion, I realized 'Star' is a representational word for the sky, or overseer (saviour). The word 'Scream' represents emotion. Also, When it translates to Astrum Vox, it sounds nifty.
Do you play live?
I have not played a live show as Astrum Vox, but I may do just that. Only time will tell.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I personally think that Mp3 and the internet make it easier for independent artists, such as myself, to broadcast ourselves and make ourselves heard. Also, it makes it easier for record companies to not only find new artists, but to broadcast the ones already signed.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would if an offer arose. I have not yet been contacted, but as my creation of astrum Vox is still newborn to the public, that scenario is understandable.
Band History:
Astrum Vox was created as a side project from a band known at one point as "Bochalism," and formerly, "BloodWAY."
Astrum Vox is a semi-industrial artist that creates what it feels like. The sounds are produced in the rhythm of Astrum's heartbeat. Based on dreams, reality perception, and social corruption, the music is basically just a mind trip, especially to those who are not in a sober state of mind.

The first track that was produced under Astrum's new name was entitled "Semenar." Later came "Death Pie," "Mushroom Slap," "Never get Laid," and "MakeUp Sex."

Now available on the Astrum Vox Myspace are two new tracks, one entitled "Envy" and one which was only entitled "F***" because the term " (untitled) " is improper.
Your influences?
I am highly influenced by Psyclon Nine and my fellow independent, Proton 42.
Favorite spot?
I like to be where ever the mood strikes. Normally this is in front of my computer, where I create my 'Musical Shit.'
