Post-Industrial Delicacies for your Listening Pleasure.

celadon is an industrial-ambient musical project from Seattle, WA. My goal is to share the beauty I experience with others. To this end, I record some of the more interesting bits of the world, bend them into curious shapes, and offer them back to the world like messages in a bottle.

My debut CD, Post-Industrial Delicacies, is now available on cdbaby or download the songs here.
Your influences?
I love old-school industrial music - Einsturzende Neubauten, Severed Heads, Coil - and other experimental artists like Randy Grief, Strafe F.R., Asmus Tietchens.
Equipment used:
I record found sounds with a minidisc and then load them into ProTools or Live for manipulation and mixing. I also use a variety of hardware synths and effects as well as plug-ins like those made by the Ohm Force.
Anything else...?
I reject the notion that industrial music must be hateful, ugly, aggressive, and synthetic. I explore the darker and more unusual corners of our sonic landscape and return with richly textured, intimate organic constructions.
