Charles Meredith aka ChuckCity was born deep in the south (Biloxi, MS) where Blues, Jazz and Southern Rock have a strong presence, Chuck became a fan of music at a very young age.
Since he had an interest in poetry in middle school, writing rhymes came easily for the witty, sometimes class clown. It was at lunch tables and the backs seats of the bus that Chuck would first show off his growing talent.
Rapping about current events, childhood memories and known for his humorous storytelling, ChuckCity brings a heart pumping energy to the stage that captivates the crowd and demands your ears full attention.
Baggy jeans, a hoody and Nikes was the normal attire for Chuck as he wasn’t in it for the fashion.. It was more the slap of Boom Bap and crafty word play when writing that intrigued him.
Hip Hop has a large following in Colorado and Colorado Springs has it's share of open mic nights, local shows and MC battles. It was at these spots that ChuckCity began to build a reputation as an MC with a strong presence in the local scene.
