Why this name?

I don't know why I just liked the name Classical. I had the name for awhile then my cousin made a beat that just put me in a zone. I was going to call the song "Classical The Great". I started writing my verses and saying Classical The Great and it stuck to this day.

Do you play live?

Few openings for some underground cats, but we working on it.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

It allows for you to be heard everyday and you have the oppurtunity to put up a new song everyday. As far as changing the industry it's bittersweet. Your able to be heard by people in China and in Nebraska at the same time and everything in between. At the same time, You are giving it out for free music,but hey

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

I always toss and turn when i'm asked this question. I'd love to just be signed and be able to be heard by the masses. I'd love the indie just for not having to deal with the bullshit in the beginning, but i'd love to have a major like a def jam or an interscope just to have that type of machine behind me and to be able to spread good music in a big way.

Your influences?

Alot of people touched me. I love Musiq Soulchild. I think he's one of the last real Soul singers. Alicia Keyes,Jay-Z,Beans,Jada,Joe Buddens,Donny Hathaway,Marvin Gaye. But my fav. of all time is Ghostface. There will never be another one like him.
