Joyeux Hastie Experience was formed in 1993 by former members of Electric Angel. This webpage will present exclusive mp3s. There is no genre or label that can possibly be put on the band. Blues, straight ahead Rock, Jazz, Electro and other experiments can all be found on JHE's albums.
Why this name?
That's a secret which shall be revealed later.
Do you play live?
No live gigs yet, we've been focusing on recording.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
One day the music will be truly free, and bands will make their money from merchandising and concert tickets.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Nah, more likely an indy label would suit our needs better.
Band History:
1993 - from the ashes of Electric Angel comes Joyeux Hastie Experience. Two demos circulate.

1996 - Brian Daniels is kicked out of the band for failing to evolve. One demo circulates.

2002 - In May of this year, a 40 minute album from Joyeux Hastie Experience is released on the band's own "Kind Productions" label. The album, titled "Heavy Midnight" is a sort of spring cleaning for the band. The album consists mostly of older material newly recorded.

2004-5 - Follow-up to "Heavy Midnight" recorded, never released. Mp3s to follow at soundclick.
