Ramon came up with the idea and it's actually his way of teasing aiMz about a guy she just met and didn't like. friends and family thought that the name is appealing so we decided to live with it. it's beginning to have a deeper meaning now though with our stronger engagement to our band and music.

Yes. Had our first gig together at the Nightwish Bar last November 4 and there's more to come. Do we like it? YES! Special moments would be whenever we're working on new songs or arrangements and rehearsing them.

It has become a powerful outlet for artists to share their music worldwide without spending a lot, find kindred spirits, hear what's new and of course, be heard. Amazing!

Marry Me Amy was born on October of 2007 in Mandaluyong where the two musicians met for work and then friendship.

"Been there, done that" guy, Ramon has been playing lead guitars and doing vocals for an alternative / classic rock band since high school. He's done front acts, praise and worship, plus lots of gigs until he settled down and had to go abroad. On the other side of the world was aiMz, a bedroom musician who enjoys listening and making up tunes and words in her head but never really thought of performing until she came across a recording software that made her discover the possibility of bringing her music to life, and which later on made her friends and family bully her into releasing an EP of the songs she made, perform them live and JUST DO IT!

aiMz is influenced by Switchfoot, Lifehouse, Coldplay, The Beatles, Gin Blossoms, Plumb, Alanis, Natalie Imbruglia, Googoo Dolls, Aerosmith, The Corrs, Bon Jovi, BoyzIIMen, Mariah Carey, Carpenters, Jars of Clay, Lisa Loeb, Phil collins, Chicago, Queen, Sheryl Crow, Tori Amos, The Platters, Madonna, some 80's, APO Hiking Society, Hale, Rivermaya, basta Pinoy ASTIG, etc.
