I'm MDK. I live in Bomoseen/Castleton/Bristol, VT. I rap good.
I started in a group called Trajik, then joined SickSide. Now its just me, which is better. No one seems to have enough motivation to even finish a collab, let alone make more than one.
I've been writing rhymes for like 7-8 years, writing them to a beat for like 6-7, and recording for like 4-5.
I freestyle live. At parties, wherever there is a mic, or anyone who wants to rap/battle. I've been known to draw a crowd and amaze, yes, if that's what you're asking.
I grow tired of my songs, by the time the finished product is recorded, shit sounds old as hell. So I don't perform songs, I write new ones.
I could list people back in the day that influenced me, but its not like that at all anymore. I listen to a beat and it tells me what it wants me to say, or I have something I wanna say and I find a beat that says it. Then I go to work. A song should practically write itself, if it doesn't, something isn't right.
So right now, I'd have to say I am my own musical influence. People I have learned from are Supernatural, Cloud 9ine, CBZ, Eminem, Eyedea, and Chino XL to name a few.
Yeah. Ya'll need to leave some comment's and show respect if you like a song, forreal. Every song I make, I spend prolly 40+ hours on, shit is ALOT of work, a lot of tweaking and perfecting, ya'll don't even know. So show love.
