For the people who dont know who im am, my name is Eric Lyles. I was born in fairfield california, now im in sacramento. The passion i live for is my music, i started making beats with fruity loops which didnt work out for me so i went to making beats on cubase and reason 3.0, i mostly use reason thought. i gave them out to the people who was rapping at the time, now im selling them for a few bucks.
There is one person that i look up to which is my uncle, hes the one that helps with the music equipment, without him i dont know where i would be right now. he introduced me to the midi keyboard i use right now, and cubase and reason, the equipment i have right is perfect for what im doing. I make beats for a lot of people, no one famous, i dont get any credit for them because i use to give them out for free and they dont mention my name at all which is cool,because i use some of the beats i make to make songs. If you didnt already know im a recording artist to, i try to catch up on my writing, but im just to busy with making beats i dont have time to make ryhmes and get in the booth, im focused on making my beats the best of best, but recording is also a passion to my life to.
One thing my brother told me is dont worry about what people think of your music as long as you like it,thats all that matters.because most of those people who are hating on are hating on you because you are doing good, and they know that your going to make it to the game, so they tell you that your stuff is bad which it isn't, so then you have your self thinking its bad, and you basically stop making music, and thought it was a waste of time which it wasn't. my brother always told me to believe im myself. and i want to thank him to the fullest for what hes doneHave you performed in front of an audience?The people i have producer for have made songs, but they haven't performed on stage, we simply put it on myspace and the fans hear it from there.
