Corey Steven Lewis was born in Toronto, Ontario (Canada), on July 26, 1985. Born of Jamaican parents, He is the eldest of five siblings in total.
In 1994 Coreys love for music gradually began at the young age of 9, while lip singing songs of young artist Tevin Campbell to entertain his friends and family. His joy for performance grew stronger during his years in junior high and later in high school.
As his admiration for the art of the Rap music grew, Artist, Jay-Z and Biggie Smalls mostly influenced Coreys love for Rap Music. In 1998 Corey began to write his lyrics and was inspired to a much higher energy after the release of Jay-Z s Hard Knock Life album, which led him to register his own independent label later in 2004. RELOAD-IT RECORDS name is a result of the intro words by Pain In Da Ass.
He took time out to study his craft and develop his style that is like none other in the industry here in Canada. His unique style allows him to incorporate reggae with rap.
Generated by a new buzz in 2002 Corey picked up on rap artist 50 Cent, general of G-Unit Records. His desire to rap grew even stronger since then. He looks up to 50 Cent and Jay-z because they have heart and know what they're doing in the industry.
Corey is Eger to see his career move forward in the rap industry. Looking to get signed as a solo artist he seeks out the individuals he admire most. The task seems impossible. Corey "aka" ReycoLaw and His mother Juliet "aka" JayJae are both founders of the label they now represent.
Early summer of 2006, Corey at age 21 was able to find pioneer Artists as dedicated as he is to representing the label. While these four young artists grow and develop their maturity in the music. He is aware and Hopeful that he will eventually have to embrace the challenge of leading Hip-Hop in Canada.
It's his desire to get signed either by Jay-Z of Roc-A-Fella Records or by 50 Cent of G-Unit Records and Launched as the newest artist and The first rap artist to ever come out of Toronto, Canada and actually blow up on a major label.. Corey "aka" ReycoLaw is available to travel immediately upon request.
