Band/artist history
Street is the name of our group, we make Street Music, and we sell Street Sh#T. Yun Quan and Dame Dozha began making music in the spring of 2004, to find an alternative route from the usual street grind of selling drugs. After a few trips to a couple of studios in Orlando, Eazy joined and they became Street. Settling in Tallahassee, FL the group began making mixtapes to support and strengthen their craft. Promoting and selling their music enabled them to invest in enough equipment to began “The Crackhouse” the infamous underground studio ran by Yun Quan. During the summer of 2004 Yun Quan made “The Sneak Attack” a solid start the budding star that had hits such as: Knock Up; Getting Weak; Irrelevant. Selling that mixtape spawned all kinds of new ways to promote Street and its members. After a string of promotional street mixes, (which include the Street Sh*t Mixtape, Street Super Bowl Series, and others) and several new original singles the Street sound began to develop definition. Yun Quan came back with “Shadow of a Giant” hosted by DJ Supastar JKwik to start of the summer of 2005. Street also added members Young Gune, and Street Shed. The crew kept recording and flooded the streets with their cds moving through the state of Florida like a sports expansion team. When 5000th S.O.G. was sold in the streets, Street struck back with “Back 2 Bizness” in which the crew traded off on a new line-up of beats most being their own. In only about 12 months this team of Street ni&&as have reach a level in their region to be reckoned with. This group writes, compose, records, produce, and distribute their own music to satisfied customers from Tampa to Atlanta. Street intends to grow and develop their talent as well as their fan base with a persistent and constant promotional motivation they simply refer to as “Get Rich or Get Rich” Look out for more Street Music coming soon as well as many other future ventures from this band of brothers. They are seeking any kind of work that you can cook up, “Let us grind for you.”
