timeGhost began in 2003 when Jon Ferrer and Nicholas Brenneman decided that making music together was in thier destiny. timeGhost relied mostly on technology to share their musical inspirations and compositions, seeing that jon was away from home (milwaukee, wi) at graphic design school in minnesota. Nicholas would record piano parts, riffs, and rough vocals on a digital voice recorder and e-mail to jon who would add/delete/edit/season things, put it in very basic sequencing software, and get a framework for a song. The framework was all that they had (timeGhosts flying back and forth through cyberspace_ ) until jon could find an excuse to make the journey home (whether it was a concert he couldn't miss or just to be back for the weekend) and timeGhost really got the chance to go to the studio ( jon's house or nicholas's apartment) where their homemade studio was put to work, and they had enough time and focus to completley finish a song. the cycle continued......... NOW TODAY: timeGhost is reunited with jon's graduation complete, he is back home for good and they have about 8-10 songs worthy of making a fantastic ep. the recording has began, the software has been upgraded (REASON 3.0) and timeGhost is set to take over the world. you can keep up with the progress at their international myspace site: http://www.myspace.com/timeghost1
