I am a solo female emcee rapper. It started when i met eminem really, and D-12. Proof and Marshall inspired me.
I have had a tough road, just over a year ago i became seriously ill and i am now disabled and in a wheelchair. That paradox has led me to some serious depression which i am still in now. Rapping is a way of getting out the side depression brings out in me that i hate, kind of like 'slim shady'. It's good because i can talk to him and Proof like brothers now. So this is the way forward, it was in a miricle itself God let me meet D-12 but i honestly feel this is one thing i can do.
My band consists of me (Ellie) I started writing when i was in hospital due to my depression for a considerable amount of time. I am 13 years old, started producing tracks in October really, from lots of inspiration. I am a Christian so i rap from that perspective, but i like to point out to people what depression is and how it destoys you. Here is a picture of me:http://www.microfrost.co.uk/ellieweb/ellieseaby.jpg
I produce my own material, rap my own style and write all my lyircs, i just hit the mic, edit and there i am a track's infront of me!!!
I haven't played live yet, i have just about finished my ep. I have promoted myself through the internet, and i am about to sell copies of my album. 'd love to play liveif i ever made it!
Eminem and D-12. Eminem because i saw passed what everyone sees he is, he's not what they think he is, he let me realise that there are ways of releasing pain through lyrics. Also, you cannot control the person depression brings out, you don't have to like it, but when you have had real depression you will comprehend!
I might be disabled but i still have a heart.
