Z. is a musician from Las Vegas by way of Seattle Washington, he's been playing and performing bass guitar, drums and lead guitar for a number of years. He also recorded and performed with name acts as George Clinton also late son of George, Darrell Clinton, Maceo Parker,The Barkays, Skip Martin from The Dazz Band and Kool and the Gang, Howard Hewett, Martha High from James Brown's band, Angela Wimbush, Billy Paul, B.B. King's drummer Tony Coleman along with members of Earth Wind and Fire. Z currently performs on the Las Vegas Strip nightly in a Prince tribute group called "Purple Reign" playing bass guitar. Z's main goal is to write great music for artist's as well as himself for his new cd. He composes all of his own songs ,but he is willing to work with other writers and artists. From Seattle, Z played bass guitar in many of the popular cover bands, he then started his own band called Zfunk, with some hometown friends ,he is currently working in Las Vegas, four days of the week playing bass guitar in the Prince tribute band "Purple Reign" on the Vegas strip.

Hey Z-Man. I’m really glad I found your site. I live in Vegas and had opportunity to see “Purple Reign” several times at the Holiday Inn Boardwalk. I’m a big fan of the group especially your sound. . I diggin' your music. Great funk stuff. (Brother’s Johnson). I believe you guys are currently at Mandelay Hotel…Is that right? Anyway very good see that you are a member of SC.
