Band/artist history
It started as a dream for James McClelland and lived out to be a reality through his hard work and eniciative. The man we now know as Big McCullah is an up in-coming artist from Sacramento. Big McCullah has been in the game of Hip-Hop for 2 1/2 years. Madd Son, Big McCullah's Producer, started Madd Life in 2004. Big McCullah has been on the hustle to get this label up but still leaves the option of signing with a major label. "It doesn't matter to me. I love all Sac-Town artists. All the labels as well. Gotta show love for people doing there thing trying to put Sacramento on the map," said Big McCullah. He plans on in the future to collabs with Sac-Town artists. He always leaves that option but has said that he wants to better his people as well.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Just started getting into it. We do shows in the 916 area. Soon we'll be doing shows all over Cali.
Your musical influences
I love music in general. If it sounds good to my ears, I like it. My influences are all rappers and other artists who have came before me because they are truly doing there thang. Out of everybody, I have to say my favorite artist is Nate Dogg. The King of the Hooks. I love him. He's so harmonial but can also give you that gangsta factor in his music. I also put Siccmade Muzicc up there as my favorite too. That means all of them. Whatever they put out, I buy. Hope to one day collab with them.
