Band/artist history

Formed during late summer of 2001 while sitting on the curb waiting for a bus to the bowling alley. We havent bowled since then but our original plans for our band name was Fake-Emo but that seemed to cheesy so we went with Day Camp... and when we were in the studio we changed it again to Breaking Ground and it's listed as breaking Ground.

Have you performed in front of an audience?

We have played some good shows in the past. We find battle of the bands to be very enjoyable but really all our shows are a lot of fun.

Your musical influences

We are very open-minded when making music but for the most part we are influenced by punk and emotional rock. Some bands we enjoy a lot : Saves The Day, Alkaline Trio, Hot Water Music, Hot Rod Circuit, Cursive, Diesel Boy, Mxpx, Millencolin and a lot of indie bands.

What equipment do you use?

We use Ibanez & Squire electric Guitars, Fender Bass Guitars. Ernie Ball Guitar & Bass Guitar Strings. Hartke & Ampeg Bass Amps Marhsall Guitar amp

Anything else?

I once dedicated one of our songs to coconuts...
