When it comes to lyrical content, Brickmo is nothing short of astonishing. His changeability in delivering rhyme schemes, along with his ambitions for assembling southern melodic, soul-soothing beats, is just a foretaste of what you can expect from this aspiring artist. Although born in Calument, Michigan, this Georgia native began his musical journey while going to college at Valdosta State University back in December of 2005. He started off constructing beats on the commonly known Fruity Loops program. With no musical background to aid his arsenal, Brickmo meticulously produced beat after beat, craving a sound that would set him apart from the rest of the music industry. But in his conquest for perfecting his craft, he knew something was missing He needed to be heard! So he began developing his diction and word conveyance with the aid of his family, friends, and books. To this day, he continues to gain knowledge from everyone he comes in contact with, to assist him in portraying his message through music. I just want to speak and be heard. Im hoping my music inspires somebody to go from a little to a lot, because its possible. And when I make it, Ill be living proof that it can happen. From opening up for Pastor Troy, to creating albums, and exquisite verses for mixtapes along the southern region of Georgia, Brickmo will go to any length to procure his spot as a musical icon.
