Crisis (US) 2

My name is Christian "Crisis" Marshall. I was born April 29, 1988. On Detroit westside but grew up on the east. My group and label is call Ecksclusive records. I made the name of the group which later my producer Fred "Upside" Evans later incorporated into the Label name. We made 2 Cd's called the Ecksample and Rated Ecks. What sets us apart from other music is we actually come from the gritty gutter and crime of the average Black Man in a Detroit setting and the emotional stress weighed on our shoulders. Pretty deep to come from a bunch of 16 year olds huh! Don't go mobb Deep and get it twisted we do go alittle Gangsta sometimes.

ECKSclusive Records has came a long way. Back then, when we was in the 9th grade, their werent that many groups at the school. Until members of ECKS join together. During those times, we was battling 11th graders every lunch, to try to get heard. We didnt have any technology, but a pencil, paper, and a table to bang and music off of. After that we became friends with a person in the school that made music. Everybody was so interested in his music that upside started to do the same. After that time, Crisis, Young clip, and ACE were talking about making up our own group. We got ahead of ourselves, and said, we'll be the best group out there. We'll make CD's and mixtapes, and go to concerts. Then they wanted upside to join. But after hearing all of that, he had doubts, but came to his senses and joined anyway. Then oneday upside created his first CD. It wasnt what they dreamed of. During that time, the group needed to figure out a name. The next week, we were doing an assignment and had to work in groups and name it. Crisis suggested "ECKS". after that young clip heard the name and said "That should be the name of our group". Everybody agreed. Soon or a later we had handshakes, and beat CD's. Then we started going to recording sessions. Our first and second tries, wasn't our best. Thats when we started buying programs to help us out. After that we did better on recordings. After that time, We finally released the ECKxample Album. It consisted of 17 tracks. Everybody who heard it, gave good comments on our work. Thats when we started working harder. Then we gotten even better and released the Rated ECKS Album. that one consisted of 21 tracks. Today, the ECKSclusive Records is working like national artist, but underground. We now have studios, website, flash websites, affiliates, and high quality songs. We work hard for this. ACE quoted " I never thought we make it this far. We went from beatboxing and banging on tables to make music, to making 20 track CD's of great songs". ECKSclusive Records is out there!!!
