Band/artist history
2001: Performer Dominique and sound designer and programmer Vril, form Forkys. Getting influenced from the Gothic music style, they start to compose songs, using non-electronic sounds.
2002: The album "Lamentation" is ready! Demos and promos are given to many producers and labels, but with no result... Finally, we decided to produce by our selfs a CDR limited version, under the same name, containing three songs.
2003: Electronic sounds getting really exciting for us! At the same time, a couple of contemporary dance companies ask for collaboration. Old and new songs get choreographed by upcoming greek artists.
2004: CAPP Records invites Forkys to get singned. The CD "Attack of Insanity" is going to be released. At the same time, live shows are taking place, using self-made visuals. On December, Astra Productions invites Forkys to support In Strict Confidence and Diary of Dreams, in a sold-out concert that ment to be the greatest moment for us, untill nowdays.
2005: Forkys and CAPP records are no more collaborating. A promotional CDr, released by the label, has been released and nothing more... Forkys signed with the new label Dead Scarlet Records. Three new songs, a video clip and a great mastering for a completely redesigned CD, under the name "My Spirit Freed At last". Some more live shows take place.
2007: CD "My Spirit Freed At Last" finally released! Twelve (12) songs of Gothic-Electro-Industrial music plus our "Attack of Insanity" video clip are included to our first official CD!

Have you performed in front of an audience?
Although we prefer our recording studio, from time to time, we play live. We like it, because this is a great oppurtunity to come in touch with many people, but we don't want to be very often on stage.
The most important live show untill now: playing as the support band of In Strict Confidence and Diary of Dreams, Dec.2004 at Gagarin205 music hall!
Your musical influences
We are involved in gothic-electro genre and we like to mix this influence with industrial, ambient and dark-beat forms. Clean female vocals, vocoded male vocals and of course our synths are our "tools".

S/W: Cakewalk Sonar, Reason 3.0, FruityLoops 3.2, Steinberg Wavelab 4.0 and various plug-ins for a PC based project studio
