I am a multi-instrumentalist, producer, writer, vocalist and mix engineer currently in Huntington Beach, California. I first found out about SoundClick 20 years ago, introducing the artists I was working with the time when I lived in New York - Debbie Wilson and George Elieser.
Band/artist history
In 1988, I was living in New York City, working at Atlantic Records in an entry level position and working as an assistant manager at a studio in downtown Manhattan called INS Studios. I wrote and produced "Accept" one weekend, (geekery: using a TASCAM Portastudio Two, a Roland TR-808, a Yamaha FB01 and a Korg Poly 800. I recorded vocals on track, extra synths on the other two tracks, used one for FSK (to drive the 808 and my sequencer, an Atari 130XE running MidiTrack II) and recorded it to high quality cassette). I played "Accept" for many people, some of who expressed interest in signing me to a record deal to their indy labels. Most prominent would be Craig Kallman, along with his right-hand man at the time, Paradise Roman, who wanted to sign me to Big Beat Records. The deal never happened, but I continued to pursue my musical dreams as a producer, working with ASCAP and their upcoming writers, while also making beats for hip hop artists, producing some of their tracks and working with local R&B talent. I also made advertising demos for agencies such as DDB and UniWorld. (geekery: at this time, I was using the above, along with Roland modules and StudioVision Pro). In 2000, I was introduced to the world of touring by my friend, Kevin Antunes, who put me on as a programmer for Enrique Iglesias. Since then, I've been touring. CV is here: http://www.glennerwin.com/clients ome of my works include co-producing and designing for the two Cirque du Soleil Michael Jackson shows (Immortal and ONE, which the latter is currently playing at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas), mixing Rihanna's Blu-Ray for her LOUD tour, audio post-production on two of Madonna's Blu-Ray DVDs, touring with Cher for 14 years and playing sax in her show, working with Deadmau5 as his audio assistant for 3 years and being mentored by Motown legends such as Wah Wah Watson (RIP), Leon Ware (RIP) and legendary drummer and musician James Gadson. I am still working on my own music and am about to release a 16 album, 1 EP work called "The Great Release Project." It is scheduled for release Fall 2019.
