Sleepwalker f/Phorm Sleepwalker f/Phorm
Sleepwalker is a track that I started in late 2002 and put on hold for a while. When I picked it back up, I sent it to Paul Salva (Phorm) as an mp3 for him to lay down the scratches that you hear in the track.

Ain't No Future (Jasp182 Remix) Ain't No Future (Jasp182 Remix)
This is a remix I did for a now defunkt breakbeat label in Orlando called FunkWax. Original mix by Johnny Cage from Louisiana. This is one of my more aggressive tunes and the first breakbeat track I did entirely with software.

Odyssey Odyssey
This is the first version of Odyssey, an acid jazz/ambient groove tune with 90's hip hop influenced beats, a lush synthetic soundscape, and a touch of latin percussion. This is a good representation of how I feel these days musically. 92 BPM
Jasp182 is the electronic music of Rich Stern. I ran an indie record label called Insomniac Records for several years releasing breakbeat and electro tracks (and the occasional progressive house and ambient groove track) on vinyl. I don't pursue music professionally, but I enjoy taking the music making process seriously and making my music available for free to download. In the last few years I've slowed the tempo of my music drastically so there's a lot of downtempo breaks tunes coming out of my studio these days.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I have performed all over Florida at clubs and one-offs with the occasional out of state gig. I played in 2002 at the Ultra Music Festival and some assorted parties during Winter Music Conference in Miami Beach. High points in my music career have been performances at The Chili Pepper in Ft. Lauderdale, The Club at Firestone in Orlando and NAF Studios in Seattle, WA.
What equipment do you use?
Software: Acid, SoundForge, Waves, Orion
Hardware: Juno106, FutureRetro777, Access Virus Indigo, Korg 01W, Yamaha 01V

I know this is a long shot, but I have to try:
I have a song (“Yah Yah”) that is being played on two of your local radio stations. If you can find ANY time to call and request “YAH YAH” by ManHood (Ichiban Records), well… I can’t tell you how much I would appreciate it – FOR REAL!
