Story behind the song
After the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami, I found myself searching for a way to express my solidarity and connection to friends in Japan. I came across a guitar arrangement of this melancholy song of sadness and hope, which I transposed for NST guitar. I have played it every day after watching the disturbing developments of the Fukushima nuclear reactor. After 16 days, I would like to present my recording in the hope that this song brings some comfort to those listening.
