Story behind the song
When I was recording for the Emotional Hell album, I was thinking a lot about what I had been through and where I was going. Recording in a much nicer place and having the freedom to write whatever was in my head really helped. This song is about what could maybe have been if I hadn't been given the opportunities to pull myself from the muck I had been living in for so long. Unlike a couple of the recordings on this album, I play all the instruments on this track.
