Pratty goes Prog and reflects on living in the light of the last supper of the lamb. Right? If you enjoy it half as much as I enjoyed making it then you'll make my day. See what happens when you listen to too much Genesis, Yes and Gentle Giant.

Introducing the greatest talent ever to emerge from the orange bedroom at my parents house. I play guitar like.... well, like a guy playing guitar. I tickle ivories. I twiddle on the computer. I sometimes enjoy beans on toast for breakfast. And in the cracks between the eating, sleeping, laughing, crying, working, breathing experience that is my life there sometimes slips out songs like these.

Story behind the song
One of the great eternal pictures in Biblical scripture is Revelations Bridal Feast of the Lamb... a feast anticipated every time the church gathers around the Lord's table. Admission to the feast is only through grace - the unmerited, undeserved favor of God. Despite all our striving we never quite make the grade. The temptation is to keep trying, rather than humbly submitting to God's will. How do we put such fantasmagorical sentiments into a song? Well it has to be prog rock! So this little ditty progresses through struggle, chaos and calm before reaching unexpected resolution. Well it all sounds very good... but at the end of the day ... it's just a song LOL.
Lyrics
No More Confusion Adrian J. Pratt 1976 No more confusion, the vision never departed Will you try it again tomorrow even though it will work now. Concentrate. Fix your eyes to the higher, Stop contemplating, the new vision will arrive keep glancing over your shoulder, Is that you or is it real? One slip, one tumble, who can give the hour or the day? Don't quench the fire with water, only sand or salt destroy one slip, one tumble, but you wouldn't be alone You're not one to despair You're one of the few to meet joy Hold Tight. Hold your ground. Hold Tight. Hold your ground. Suppers nearly ready but no time for congratulations All your endeavors meant nothing at all. Try turning the key, remove the last proud bolt, The trumpet may well sound to soon. No more confusion, the vision never departed, Stop glancing back, the music's about to begin. Keep the pressure on, keep your sword unsheathed, Don't slip on the bottom rung, you may never get up again.
