Story behind the song
Si Kahn wrote this song after the textile mill in Aragon, Georgia, closed in 1970. The mill had subsequently reopened and closed again several times, but it finally closed permanently after a fire in 2002. Vocals: Steve Suffet & Anne Price. Guitar: Steve Suffet.
