Jamey Darnold is a singer/songwriter/guitarist/ solo act originally from the banks of the Mississippi river town of Burlington, Ia. Great lyrics, and wonderful vocals. Superb guitar playing, and song structure as well.

Hi Jamey, enjoyed your music making, the song sounded like a cross between country and Hawaiian, does that sound strange to say that? But beautiful. Now the lyrics....I can relate to them, my kids when young, clung to me, miss that very much. Now...like I didn't exist...sort of. It's sad. Glad someone put that feeling into words and a song. Rose :)
