Story behind the song
Sunshine visited Woddstock festival as a young girl and wrote the lyrics a few years ago about the time she remembered. I wrote the music.
Lyrics
I love a lot of people though they do not understand
The limitless agape in my heart for fellow man.
I learned of love at Woodstock, as the children gathered round;
To emanate the feelings of the overwhelming sound.
Influencing a generation of peace and love abound,
In spite of all the anger, the music had its sound.
And as my life continues my heart still feels its call.
The love born of the music. Do you hear? Come one, come all.
So come love me, as I love you.
We'll fill the ocean, and the sky so blue.
And as this journey wanders on into infinity,
I see the past rewinding, repeating endlessly.
The beginning is the ending, the ending past me by.
And still I sit and ponder, am I still here? I wonder why.
Perhaps Im here to tell you in my most particular way
That Love really is the answer; please keep the war at bay.
We are all here to purpose peace, and further promote Love.
The love, the music, gets us there; time to groove the stars above.
So come love me, as I love you.
We'll fill the ocean, and the sky so blue.
