A nostalgic, look back to the music of the Rock & Roll era. Unapologetically influenced by the twangy guitar sounds of Duane Eddy. Some appropriate voice samples help to take you back to the 1950s.

Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something. I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.

Story behind the song
Teddy Boys are, Rock & Roll. Oh yes, I do remember them... but I was obviously far too young to be one in 1958. ... I was born in 1952 Yes, they were even in my small home town.

Love that Duane Eddy twang ! Brings back great memories of my late brother. He was 13 years older than me and used to drag me along to his band practice when I was just 5 !He was lead singer in his very successful rock n roll band called Jacky Weyman and the Buckshots . This was 61 / 62 . They were quite well known around our area they later all had fender Strats and fender bass all red of course ! That was unheard of around that time as fenders were very very expensive then .My nickname as a kid was Buckshot ! Probably where I got the music bug from ! He loved Duane Eddy and rock n roll . Great track David . Nailed the era sound to a tee ! Love it !
