some people get by with a little understanding, some people get by with a whole lot more..
think back to when Gary Numan wrote and recorded 'Cars' in 1979 and if we don't think we've lost something we're crazy...but if we think it's coming back anytime soon then we are complete fools...
can you still recall in the juke box hall when the music played
and the world spun round to a brand new sound in those far off days..
in their blue suede shoes they would scream and shout
as they sang the blues, let it all hang out..
rock and roll..

Certainly a very different version to the original, so much so I feel its an emotional story you have told so well friend.

This version has tons of emotion in it. What a really great interpretation.
It truly benefits from being stripped down to the bone in this way.
Very inventive...I like it.

Definitely went your own way. A very original take of this great song. Good work Guess Stevie never did get over it since she had Lyndsey kicked out of band in 2018.

That’s a great alternative version ! Great guitar and sorrowful vocals which adds what you are trying to portray which is the sadness of the situation between Nicks and Buckingham . As you say at the time of writing and recording there must have been a lot of sadness and you have portrayed that brilliant. The sadness then turned to anger between them and you can see the tension and angst towards each other in their later live performances, which made their performance of the song very believable! Can you imagine the tension that must have been going on throughout that ! Must have been a nightmare for the other members of the band ! Brilliant work Greg !
