Story behind the song
After one night of hallucinogens, My friend wrote these lyrics, they are very positive. He gave me them and Immediatley I had a tune for it, It is still quite bare, but I like it. Might be a good 'band' choon.
Lyrics
Lay your hands on virgin strings And we feel the sounds they make Will our world forget this past? For tomorrow’s new mistakes Tomorrow, always a day away But she comes with promised lands If I could only promise you; Soon the sun won’t face another dawn With its new world shining through And what will be there to see? Still, spires of mystic ages past Reflect our unbounded pride Return, my love, to dreams unknown Then this ‘future’ we’ll decide Where to look…How to find… Search first that place within Finding channels through the wall Stepping softly from the caves we know To build a world where temples fall And yet…And yet again… Shadow men from shadowed lands They’ll tell you when to die But endlessly rise those simple thoughts Through the doors our minds can fly
