Story behind the song

Wrote the lyrics in 1999 after tucking the wife and kids into bed. Was on the front porch reflecting on the blessings of God. Wrote the music in May of 06 not knowing the two would ever meet till the next day when I was searching my database for lyrics to use with the little tune. Now I'm hooked on my own little infectious tune.

watching rain fall down around me,
I’m reminded of the countless ways
