Slowish electronic song reminising about the past.
Artist picture
One man band with more patience than talent.
After my old 16 track got struck by lightning, it was time to go digital. The result is several years of slaving over a hot keyboard.

Story behind the song
This song was written and performed on the keyboards. All of the guitar is the Roland XV 5050, before I re-discovered playing the real guitar. It started as a drum beat and then the verse followed. The lyrics are an afterthought, as you can probably tell.
Lyrics
I’m trying to find you In a hope to remind you I don’t want to deny you The right to chose Going back to the house where We hid under the stairs You were under the weather when You sat on the leather chair We slept on the feather bed And we drank from the fountain of youth Going back to the house where it all started Though it’s been years since we departed Going back to the house where it all started Though it’s been years since we departed Going back to where it all began Trying to find the life we could have had I don’t need to remind you To put things behind you I don’t want to provide you With another excuse We’re back on the road to A miraculous recovery A mutual discovery Of the right to lose We were looking to find truth But we drank from the fountain of youth Going back to the house where it all started Though it’s been years since we departed Going back to the house where it all started Though it’s been years since we departed Going back to where it all began Trying to find the life we could have had
