There's always a first love. This was it.

One man band with more patience than talent.
After my old 16 track got struck by lightning, it was time to go digital. The result is several years of slaving over a hot keyboard.

Story behind the song
My first car was almost as old as me, and I had it painted a metallic golden color. In my first month of driving, I crashed it and had to get a job to have it repaired. That was the same time that I met my first girlfriend.
Lyrics
I was seventeen You were somewhere in between I had golden car I’d never been that far I’d never felt like this I’d never had a kiss I’d think about you all the time You were always in my mind You were easy to talk to I’d never met a girl like you You were someone to share my feelings with You were someone who was willing to forgive I got a job to buy the gas To fill my golden car Each hour I worked, I’d count the miles I’d earned to reach your smile
