Story behind the song
I put together this instrumental, and the band liked it, so together we tweaked it, arranged it, and started playing it at gigs; we just called it "that song that Steve wrote." One night at a gig, Dave just called off "Steeeeeevie Bop!" We all glanced at each other and a song was born. The band members were Dave Chisolm on vocal and guitar, Glen "Manny" Manuel on drums, "Reverend Willie" Stockton on bass, and me on guitar and backing vocals.
