Story behind the song
This song is about every tripper's nightmare...being under the influence of a hallucinogenic substance, and realizing that your girlfriend is dead...and you're not sure if YOU'RE the one who killed her... There's actually this really funny story about my second wife...and it's kind of the basis for this song... We used to trip a lot together, and in the beginning I used to scare the hell out of her...all in good fun, you understand since we were both so susceptible to suggestion. Well, we were in the shower and she went completely limp on me, rolled her eyes and wouldn't move. Scared the shit out of me because obviously cops+people tripping=shitty trip in jail...and dead wife in shower while tripping is definitely NOT cool. I was watching her mold and turn into that old lady from "The Shining"... She ended up doing that shit to me all the time when we were tripping...it was something really funny to laugh at yourself about later. It's true...I really AM that sick...lol
