lounge music for the latest part of your late nights
Rosebury is a downtempo styled music group from Long Island consisting of the work of dan mogelnicki in collaboration with a host of other musicians, primarily vocalists. Contributing artists include vocals from Kim Sweet, Ashley Flanagan, and Joanna Hernandez. The current four-piece EP has been entitled "The Rosebury Suite." The songs from the Rosebury Suite, including "Transparency, "Contact," "Our Euphoria," and "Steals my Summer" have a heavy emphasis on vocals and lyricism and describe picturesque themes of mental thoughtfulness that speak to young adults and their encounters, experiences, ups and downs. The songs from the Rosebury Suite can be relatable to those who, out of all the individuals alive, really live - agreeable to those who have seen beauty, passion, obstacles, and ice - and translatable to those with the lights around them dimmed, the air on their face soft, and the drink in their hand cold.

Lyrics
an evening sun, long past dusk still shines its light on both of us. warms her hair and mind, without even a care, and she feels it, as do i even if it isnt really there. in silence and twilight as the wind kisses her, softly, as the sea's mist branched from body cools her, and as lights from fire burned ages ago reveal like nothing else what a smile really means to me with eyes closed and in darkness. in the moment where you taste breeze and feel light, faint but real and hear her voice, without words and see what she implies with a glances' tease, and she becomes the ideal we can have our euphoria, at ease. so at last when the sun rises does the feeling set too? or, if it was ever even real, does the moment dawn anew? the time has gone, but its still alive in you.
