Simpler Simpler

I don't recall when I saw the hatred. Things were simpler when we were children. Now that we're "smarter", why is it so hard to go back to those times? Beat by Ill Poetic, for the album "To Mock A Killingbird".

Hip Hop General

Hip Hop has gotten too hard core. Simple. I take it down a notch....back to the days when rappers had more to talk about than guns, money, jewels, cars and women. Rap with a message, and well, some just for the flow of it.
Band/artist history
Well, I've rapped to some degree since about 1990. I was in a group called "2 More White Boys"...then Vanilla Ice ruined it for the white guys.... I got back into it after just freestylin in my car while on frequent long drives to keep myself awake. I recorded a few times just to do it...for the fun of it...and it took off from there.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Doing shows is the best part of all this. Most often these days I play at festivals and events for rockclimbers. Its a great way to combine two of my passions, and the music has paid for countless climbing trips over the years.
Your musical influences
Eminem, KRS-ONE, RunDMC, Tribe Called Quest, Kwame, Busta Rhymes, Outkast, Snoop, Atmosphere, Brother Ali, and well, everything I've ever heard has influenced me is some way......
What equipment do you use?
All I need is one mic.
