Since I was a teenager, I've been playing tapes & vinyl records of various music genres, either at home and on local radio stations, where I used to work as a speaker and DJ.
I made my first original songs with a little Casio keyboard and a tape recorder at 11, then I moved to DAWs a few years later. After Cakewalk, the epic Fast Tracker II, then Mad Tracker, Propellerhead Reason (still my best) and eventually Ableton Live.
After a break of a few years, I returned to producing with Reason, also re-embracing Ableton Live - still keeping Reason as a VST3 plug-in adding an AI touch on some songs (either as a voice modulator, lyrics generator or sound integration).
Styles, knowledge, skills and awareness have changed over the years, as it should be.
In most cases, music production has encountered the need to express feelings and realisations through writing (the blog PostPlex is a kind of connected project) and photography.
In the car, in the shower and other places I can't remember.
Everything influences everyone, in a positive or negative way.
Decent software, a mute keyboard, a reliable mic and a few catchy memes.
I'm Italian an old italo-griko town called Soleto (Lecce / Salento / Puglia) and moved to Brussels, Belgium, in 2014.
I also spent a few years in England (London & Sheffield), Lecce, Rome and Milan.
