Phantom Enemy is the creative collaboration of guitarist Chris McMahon and drummer Joel Brooks...with some great lyrics (South Side of the Sun & Phantom Enemy) contributed by our founding, but ex-bassist Daryl Ross in 2002-2003.Band/artist history
It's all about playing as much as possible...who knows really where it comes from.Have you performed in front of an audience?Live gigs to start in 2005...the original gig was at Davie's Uptown (Kansas City)in April 2003.

All of these recordings were done in Joel Brooks' basement using an Akai DR16 hard-disk recorder and cheap rack mount processors....with most tracks including improvised bass parts done by a guitarist in one take...or so... Feel free to pay for us to quit our day jobs and go into a real studio with real engineers...Contact
