Primarily acoustic player. I like playing those solo acoustic arrangements, such as the ones you find on youtube by Igor Presnyakov, Sungha Jung and Adam Rafferty. I don't have a skill level close to theirs yet, but I think I'm capable of putting some decent things together.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I have terrible nerves so I don't usually do that stuff. Up to now it's always been in a drunk state in front of friends, and I tend to forget all songs I know. Usually the crowd is somewhat impressed, but I'm unhappy due to not having showed my 'potential'.
Your musical influences
My inspiration comes from guitarists. For accoustic my favourite artist is Tommy Emmanuel, on electric I'm into Stevie Ray Vaughan. I also like listening to Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malmsteen, Eric Johnson and Jimi Hendrix, more or less the cliche guitar heroes.
What equipment do you use?
I have an electric acoustic guitar with a cutaway. It's a LAG. Relatively unknown brand but a nice guitar nonetheless. I usually play unplugged.
