The Song the Reindeer Sing The Song the Reindeer Sing

This is a Christmas blues-rocker with a big horn section. It assumes the perspective of the reindeer who show up for work, but once a year!

The Weekly Shuffle The Weekly Shuffle

This is a very fun song; great bluesy bounce to it that bops. It's about typical attitudes that ride with the weekly shuffle- we all experience -with a positive perspective presented (at the end of the song).

I Wonder I Wonder

Nothin' like a good slow blues shuffle with and upright bass, horns and some "wonderful" lyrics!

Mystic's Bop Mystic's Bop

This swinging shuffle has a big giant horn section; plenty of guitar work, as well.

Thinking, Feeling and Willing Thinking, Feeling and Willing

This is an instrumental with a fat arrangement that moves very nicely.

Dance-Pop

All of the material is written, produced, mixed, and performed by one person...a lot of work, indeed! Pending on which instrument the song begins on typically shapes its outcome/genre. There is lots of variation here, by design. However, the future material will aim a bit more at the blues-rock stuff that gets me going...with a touch of keys. Truth be known, I started out on the organ/piano when I was young and enjoy sitting back and playing on the black and whites. However, the Strat and me have this thing about innovating over a funky bass.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I've had band offers, since I was a kid, but went to school for a bit. I enjoy getting out in public for a gig. In fact, I frequent a lot of open jams; always get invited back.
Your musical influences
Besides, the Beatles? I love McCartney, Lennon, Kansas, Elvis Costello, Lake, Styx, Queen, Pretenders, Carpenters, and quite a few others. However, I also love the blues/rock cats like Roy Buchanan, Danny Gatton, Bobby Radclif, Duke Robillard, Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, Ronnie Earl, SRV, Jimmie Vaughan, Brian Setzer, Scott Holt, Jeff Healey, Colin James, Tab Benoit, Sugar Ray Norcia, Roomful of Blues, and the three Kings (BB, Albert, and and Freddie).
What equipment do you use?
Fender and Gibson guitars; Fender amps (exclusively). I prefer Studiologic controllers with a host of hardware modules (e.g. Alesis, Kurtzweil, Roland).
Anything else?
This outlet enables me to communicate (through the music) a lot of the things that would otherwise bugger me to no end; enables me to balance my life. I love you all.
