Tribal Brown, also known as Tribal Young Brown or Brown, is an American hip hop artist and record producer. He is the founder and owner of Roovet Records, an independent label based in Jacksonville, Florida. He is best known for his single Consider This, which was released in April 2022 and became a viral hit on social media platforms. Tribal Brown was born Tony James Nelson II on April 13, 1987, in East Meadow, New York. He started rapping at the age of 35, influenced by artists such as Big L, Biggie Smalls, and Tupac Shakur. He moved to Jacksonville, Florida, in 2013.In 2022, he founded Roovet Records, a label that aims to promote independent and underground artists from Florida and beyond.
