"Funky" Lol Ross was born, like everyone else. He bought some cheap tapes and decided to record a song about Orient to test them out. The Leyton Orientear fanzine put that out on flexi-disc in 1989 to celebrate Orient's promotion. In 1990 they released a 7" single, 'Cooperman (Sooper) Cooperman', which was played on BBC Radio 1.
After Orient's recent promotion to League 1, Lol's 'It's Orient's Time' was released to a delighted audience on cd in August 2006.Have you performed in front of an audience?FACT: Lol was once thrown off stage after only 3 songs when playing with a previous band. The audience just didn't appreciate the music.
