Cheryl Poblete aka C-Laydee has been rapping and writing music since 2005. An Un-signed artist from the Bay Area California. Her new single "Way Up" was released on April 4, 2019, and has gained over 10k+streams in less than a month. Her single "Holla Back" Produced by SB Focus was featured on Oscat Radio. A known hip-hop radio station based in Vallejo, CA. She performed her song "Fly Pinay" live which is Produced by SB Focus at a Filipino Festival in Vallejo, CA in 2012.
Band/artist history
C-Laydee started making music at the age of 4. Her father purchased a Yamaha keyboard that She used to make beats and composed music on. C-Laydee has been writing her own music at a very early age of 7. A producer, rapper, and songwriter. She focuses more on being diverse in her music such as Hip-Hop/ R&B/ Rap/ Reggae/Pop. At the age of 9, her father bought a Yamaha drum set and a Fender electric guitar that she taught herself how to play by ears and on her own. Her biggest influence in music was her father "Vince" who passed away on March 27. 2007. He really believed in her musical talent and supported her very well. In the 7th grade, middle school is when she started rapping and rhyming. Showcasing her talent in class and rap battles with other students. As she turned 16 she relocated to the U.S mainland. C-Laydee then linked up with Bay Area producer and close friend Andrew SB Focus who also produced many songs for well-known artists in the Bay Area such as; Kool John, Iamsu, Show Banga, and Loverance to name a few.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
2009 I performed in Los Angeles at a club called "Excalibur". Why I chose this as my most memorable? it is because I had all my friends with me two cars deep to come out of their ways to go and watch me perform.

What equipment do you use?
I record at a professional studio with my latest songs. Credit to Jungelife Studio in Vallejo, CA for "Way Up" mix and mastering Chris Paxton at Nexus Studio East Oakland.
