John Garrett and Jeff Brown have been composing music together since they attended high school. They have a huge backlog of material and have written songs in many different styles.
Story behind the song
Not the most amazing peice of music ever written, but the method of how it was created is another story. I found an Amazing App for My droid Phone called Uloops. The Drums, bass synth, and one other synth part are all programed into my droid using Uloops, and the two guitar parts are also recorded into the droid using Uloops. So this short peice of music was created entirely on my freakin' phone. Of course the guitar parts were actually played on a guitar, but still recorded in the phone. The whole song took about 10 minutes to whip out, I was just screwing around with the app for the first time and I gotta say it is a pretty powerfull app for music, very similar to Acid for any of my musician freinds who have used that program. It has something like 30 drum kits, a ton of synth sounds, two effects per track in your loops, copy and paste editing and this is only the free version! Now if there was a midi interface available so I could play the synths with my guitar instead of having to program them that would be killer, but for now I will just have to program.
