Aeons Old is the creation of AMKR & Old King. We are an underground hip hop group from the East Coast (currently residing in Lowell, Massachusetts as of 2011). Our roots grew out of the Horrorcore or as it's commonly called Wicked Shit scene but we maintain a motto of no artistic boundaries. We think outside the box, and strive to push the boundaries of what people consider acceptable in Hip Hop and Rap Music, not just our own home subgenre.

What up, people of HC.com? Finally - we're getting close enough to the release of our album, that I feel we can put out some tentative info about our upcoming album [b]"How Old?"[/b] to the public. BUT FIRST and most important: We just got back our first single from [b]"How Old?"[/b] Part 2. The track is called [b]"Trainstation"[/b] - we really pushed the bar on this one I feel, we put more work into this track in the studio, than any of our previous songs. I believe it really shows - I'm going to let the music speak for itself this time, and just ask that you please check it out and give us some feedback! I would never have anyone else mix our music other than Dave Black - if you give him the freedom to really work with you music, he can come up with some amazing sounds. He has a real passion for this sh** , and is willing to listen to his clients to meet their needs 100%. (www.forwardgeneration.com) Now some of you might be thinking "AMKR, [i]How Old Part 2??[/i]" YES! Well...sort of. "How Old?" is now going to be divided into two parts. Lemme break it down... [b]How Old Part 1: The Ancients[/b] - is the original album intended to solely be "How Old?" consisting of mostly tracks that were written and produced between 6 to 10 months ago (thus being called The Ancients). All this material is sick but we wanted to differentiate between our older material, and added another album's worth of newer material to balance it out. [b]How Old Part 2: The Ascension[/b] - is all 100% new material, nothing dated or left over from our older group. Part Two is going to be on a whole different level than Part One. We've honed our craft - refined all our aspects, in attempts to better our music (which is something an artist should strive to do on every release!). The album, when listened to as a whole - will be a journey; a sonic Odyssey through the Minds of myself and Old King. Our reflections and perceptions of the World around us. As well a drift through the realms of the occult and astral travel, the collective unconscious mind, the shamanic underworld, surreal, psychedelic and out of body experiences. "How Old" is a subversive and persuasive work of art - intended to infiltrate the minds of the listeners and engrain our messages into your consciousnesses (conscious, unconscious, and subconscious) of each and every listener.
