Story behind the song
I originally wrote this song while with the band called "The Cause" and it received great reviews live. Since it was origianlly written solo, I figured I'd bring it back to lead off the new CD.
Lyrics
I woke up this morning, and I looked outside my window, and the water was above the water line deep down in the dungeon you had me stretched out upon the rack I just asked you to scratch my back and you won’t give me the pleasure to just once kiss your hand you don’t understand… I woke up this morning, and I looked outside my window, and the water was up to the window sill The Chinese water torture keeps on dripping on my head makes me wish that I were dead and you won’t give me the pleasure to just once kiss your hand you don’t understand… She wants something from me... I woke up this morning, and I looked outside my window, All the fishes looked like an aquarium Everything was peaceful everything was so serene Do you know what I mean? Do you understand? You don’t understand....
