Story behind the song
When I lived in Florida, I had an 8 foot tall cross in the yard that said: "I STILL Love You" which stood by the side of a busy highway, one of two main corridors into Baker County. It has since been torn down by the people who bought our house when we moved to the Nashville area, but it witnessed to tens of thousands of folks from every walk of life as they daily drove past on their way home from work. After we moved, I sensed the story wasn't over, so I wrote this song to continue to tell people what I feel God asked me to share with them, that is: "I STILL Love You!
It's a very thought provoking message if you think about it. After seeing Mel Gibson's new movie: "The Passion of the Christ", (IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE YET, YOU REALLY OWE IT TO YOURSELF TO DO SO) I feel God's Holy Spirit is making a "last call" to this generation and this song is my way of doing some small part.
